The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They spoke English well, which made communication easy. The location was great, just a short walk away from the train station. This made it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms, toilets, and shower rooms were all clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. The free breakfast was a nice addition, with delicious homemade bread.

That the check-in counter was not open 24 hours. This caused some inconvenience, especially if you arrived late in the evening.

That the rooms were a bit pricey, but considering the location and amenities offered, it was still a good deal.

Renting a bike and biking through the area was a really fun experience. The location is great too, close to 7/11 and with a nice view of Mt. Fuji when the weather is clear.

As a hiker, I stayed at Hoster Fujishiyama 結 for a few days and it was perfect. The atmosphere felt like home, with a cozy and relaxing vibe. The shared areas and bathrooms were spotless, and the view of Mount Fuji from my room was stunning. The owner was incredibly kind and even allowed us to check in early after our hike, with no extra charge for storing our luggage. I highly recommend this hotel for those who enjoy hiking and prefer a quieter location, just two stations away from Kawaguchiko.
